My ODTUG Kaleidoscope Presentations
By Shay Shmeltzer on Jun 21, 2007
I'm almost done with all my duties at the ODTUG conference (just helping a few more developers finish the hands-on labs - which is not much work since the instructions just make the lab work out for you...)
Yesterday was my busy day with 3 sessions in one day. I'm a bit disappointed that no one blogged about any of my sessions yet, but I guess that everybody was busy going to sessions during the day and off the the Daytona race track event in the evening (lots of fun crashing virtual cars).
Anyway, I didn't have print-outs of my slides for my sessions.Since people did ask for a copy of the slides, I'll save some trees and just offer you the online versions.
The thing that you don't get with the slides are the demos that I think are key to understanding and appreciating the technologies I was talking about.
I guess you'll just need to come over to the Oracle Develop conference we are running again this year in parallel to the Oracle Open World conference. We'll have lots of JDev/ADF 11 sessions there as well as hands on labs.
The main conclusion I have from my ODTUG sessions is that with all the new features we have in JDeveloper 11 we'll need a new feature from conferences - longer slots for our presentation. You simply can't cover all the features of JDeveloper in just one hour.
Unless you are one of these guys at the end of the medicine commercials that can talk at a gun-machine rate...
