JDeveloper at JavaOne - what to see where
By Shay Shmeltzer on May 08, 2007
I'm at Javaone, just done with my first booth shift. While there is some traffic this is not a stampede. The general feeling is that there are less people here this year and the demoground is much quieter.
In any case, it was nice to meet some of the JDeveloper users out there in the booth - most of them I know from the OTN discussion forum. Nice to hear what they are doing with JDev and ADF.
But if you want to know what we've been doing with JDev and ADF in the last year then there are a few chances to get to see JDeveloper 11 in action.
Today (Tue) - I'm giving a short 30 minutes demo in the Oracle Mini Theater of EJB/JSF development using the new ADF Faces Ajax based components.
On Thu at 9:35 I have the official JDeveloper session in room 105.
This is a good session for anyone who wants to understand what is Oracle doing to simplify Java EE development. I'll cover briefly the current offering, and then cover the new features in release 11.
On Wed morning Thomas Kurian is giving a keynote and JDeveloper is also starring there - so again worth a look (you can catch the live Webcast of this).
And if you want to drill down on any of the features just come to the Oracle booth - we'll be happy to see you.
