ADF Faces Rich Client Demo and Other AJAX Thingies

Shay Shmeltzer
Director of Product Management - Oracle

In case you didn't see it landing in your email box, this month's Java Newsletter from Oracle was focused on "Simpler Ajax for Java".

It includes several articles, news items and blog entries on this topic - mainly showing how the current ADF Faces component already let you create Ajax behavior for your application without the need to write Javascript code, make sure it is portable etc...

One special thing we got there is a short preview of the next generation of the ADF Faces components - the one we internally refer to as the "Rich Client Components".

You might want to watch this demo to get a sneak preview of how your UI is going to look.

Gee, man, this is exciting. seems we finally get rid of the ugly BLAF thing. When will these components be released? in 11g?
Btw, can we think out of a better name than "ADF"?
