Comments:

Is there a better way of contacting you? I'm having some issue with deploying liferay? I'm deploying liferay 5.2.3 and I followed you're documentation and ran into an issue with deployment. Please contact as soon as you can...

Daniel,
I'm not a Liferay specailist, I did some work with Liferay 5.0 to test some our provisioning portlets, I've not touched Liferay since then. My documentation/blog notes might not work with newer versions. My direct email is "scott dot fehrman at sun dot com"

What happend to OpenPTK 2.0 ? Is there a release planned ?

Posted by Jane on January 15, 2010 at 03:04 AM CST #

Jane,

Project OpenPTK 2.0 is ACTIVELY being developed. The team is close to finishing the major features. We are doing our best to keep the wiki site and issue tracker updated. I'm working on some of the 2.0 documents "as we speak" http://wikis.sun.com/display/openptk/Docs+2.0

The wiki site is being updated as we make progress. You can also track our issues here https://openptk.dev.java.net/servlets/ProjectIssues

We will be scheduling the initial release of 2.0 after all the P3 (critical path for 2.0) and P4 (targeted for 2.0) issues are CLOSED

Thanks for the question, please feel free to contact us (via the openptk.dev.java.net site) further questions.
