I'm Carolyn Wong, managing editor of the Java EE site, Identity Management site, and other SDN sites, and I will provide coverage of Sun Tech Days Tokyo and post that coverage on http://blogs.sun.com/TechDaysEvents/. So stayed tuned!
Sun Tech Days Tokyo will kick off on November 6 with Community events, including NetBeans Day and OpenSolaris Day. These parallel technology-specific events will provide great opportunities to get the latest updates from the experts and network with your peers.
Sun Tech Days technical sessions and labs will follow November 7-8. There will be two Java development tracks, and the sessions will discuss Java EE 5 and GlassFish, Java SE 6 features, Project Metro and REST-based web services, Java scripting, and more. The Solaris development track sessions will focus on Sun Studio tools, Solaris and OpenSolaris security features, Solaris networking, and more. Instructor-led and self-paced hands-on labs are also available. See the Sun Tech Days Tokyo site for the schedule of technical sessions and hands-on labs offered.
And Sun Vice President and Fellow James Gosling will be a keynote speaker!
My SDN colleagues have already been traveling around the globe to report on their Sun Tech Days experiences. Be sure to read their blogs that will surely get you excited to attend a Sun Tech Days conference in a city near you.
See the Sun Tech Days website to learn more about these events.
I hope to see you in Tokyo!
