A Bridge to the Cloud...

Deploy Hyper-converged Private Cloud Solution with Oracle Linux KVM

Simon Coter, and Marcos Sungaila

This time, an other great and very knowledgeable colleague, Kiran Rajendra - Technical Support Engineer at Oracle, created a great technical article on how-to configure an hyper-converged architecture with on Oracle Linux KVM, Gluster and Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager.

On this article Kiran shares with us a step-by-step guide on how to deploy and configure Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager with Oracle Linux KVM in an hyper-converged architecture where the Oracle Linux KVM compute-nodes also act as storage-nodes by leveraging GlusterFS.

The technical article is available on our Oracle Community website at following URL:

On our Oracle Community website you can find the entire catalog of articles, video, trainings we have on Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager.

Hi Simon, this sounds great! We're looking at deploying Oracle RAC VMs on Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager, are they supported on this configuration?

Oracle RAC does not support GlusterFS storage for its database files actually.
