Need to Do More with Less? or Better Lever Your Plant Information? See this new ARC Report

It’s not surprising that most plants do not leverage existing plant information to drive operational performance. Most data arrives too late and not contextualized properly to make rational decisions. One medical device manufacturer found a novel way to link their PLM product lifecycle app, containing vital content management legacy data, to allow collaborative concurrent change control.   Releasing 500 new products last year, this firm moved to paperless production while meeting regulatory requirements as CFR Part 11 (ERES).

This ARC report talks of the Oracle Discrete Manufacturing deployment linked to the Oracle Manufacturing Operations Center (MOC)  to collect process monitoring, data inspection, and lot status.   This vital information is then processed with EMI technology to collect, integrate and analyze data, reducing silos that improves collaboration and increases its manufacturing efficiency. Impressive!

For those factiries that want to implement the latest Manufacturing and Intelligence applications to make better decisions, this report is very informative.
