Leading Analyst Firms Cite Oracle Sales Cloud as a Leader in SFA Technology

Two new reports from top analyst firms provide updates on the growing role of Sales Force Automation. 

Forrester recently published “The Forrester Wave™: Sales Force Automation Solutions, Q2 2017.” In it, they discuss the changing dynamics of sales tools, evaluate and identify the ten most significant vendors and select Oracle Sales Cloud as a leader. 

Oracle believes this report discusses the capabilities that a robust sales platform provides to sale professionals and that both firms find common ground for selecting Oracle as a leader for its strong product offering and strategy.

Forrester - SFA Evolves to Help Sellers Deepen Engagement with Prospects and Customers

SFA solutions have shifted from sales management to seller empowerment and customer engagement. Since today’s buyers have more control over their customer journey, some legacy SFA tools haven’t kept up to support the needs of sellers and frontline CX professionals.  In response, leading vendors focus on driving efficiencies and provide intelligent recommendations to sellers to position themselves to successfully help their customers engage, delight and win the business of today’s modern buyer.

The Forrester report states that, “Oracle’s strength comes from its balance of solution breadth, horizontal innovation (especially mobility and AI), and industry specialization. [Customers] cited Oracle’s propensity to deliver a lot of functionality in new releases... “

The report also notes, “Oracle is a best fit for companies that are looking to leverage a common platform to power the majority of their sales apps. The common platform underpinning SFA, PRM, SPM, and CPQ allows companies to leverage a common data model, extensibility platform, and user interface.
