Locating SIP servers using DNS in SailFin

Binod explained (with an example) about 2 new records related to SIP - i) New Naming Authority Pointer (NAPTR) Record as a mechanism to specify protocol (TCP/UDP) ii) Service Record (SRV) as locating server host and port from SailFin. Also Binod provided clear steps for configuring DNS on SailFin server.

Online Banking sample : Java EE convergence

Bhavani had developed a new sample that demonstrates the convergence of Java EE and SIP Servlets. He has blogged about it here . Convergence wih Java EE 5 is one of the key features of JSR289. It would be nice to have a sample that demonstrates the convergedHTTP Session interface.

Checkout SailFin MileStone1 build !

It is good to see that SailFin is reached MileStone1 (MS1). The following features integrated and basic SIP applications should work. This build passed QuickLook and GlassFish regression tests. Also existing SIP functional tests 86% passed.
