Where's NetBeans in Ubuntu?

Guest Author

If you tried to install NetBeans from multiverse of the latest version of Ubuntu (Feisty Fawn) you might have noticed the actual packages are not there yet and the installer says you need to obtain the IDE separately. This is just a temporarily workaround for a licensing issue and full NetBeans packages should appear soon (the update has already been uploaded by Sun).

Hi Roman, I'm an ubuntu user so I'm very happy this news. But the current installer seems to copy just English files from tgz file even when I put full-localized tgz under /tmp. I hope it will be fixed next time, I'll check it.
