    Hi Roumen

First of all, congratulation of release RC1..

As Google release Android, make I knows What Sun take on Google forking another JVM instead of follows JavaME standards? And will Netbeans team ever release a plugin to develop Android applications?

Any good way to import settings from previous betas? I really wish it would pick up my previous 6.0 settings instead of my previous 5.5 install.

    I can't comment Android now.

As for importing settings from betas you can copy files manually in your userdir (copy the config directory from ~/.netbeans/6.0beta to ~/.netbeans/6.0rc1) or similarly. We only support import from major releases because handling changes between individual betas / milestones would be really a lot of work. We can't guarantee this will work 100%. But we guarantee that it works from final releases (5.5 to 6.0 etc.).

So when is NetBeans 7.0 going to be released?

Netbeans 6 is going to be a massive step up from previous releases, it looks and feels great, however the fact that I cant turn off the "Auto Compile" feature is driving me nuts.
