Sketsa - Another Application Based on NetBeans Platform

Sketsa SVG Editor is yet another application which is built on top of NetBeans platform. It is a vector drawing application based on SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics). With Sketsa, you can create vector graphics that can be scaled and printed at any resolution, without losing detail or clarity. Here's a screenshot:

It makes perfect sense for all kinds of applications to reuse NetBeans platform - the development team can save many man-months of development by reusing what is available in NetBeans and focusing on features that matter to users of the application instead. Your application then works on every platform and you can reuse existing Swing libraries. So if you haven't looked at NetBeans platform yet, look at it :)

All I get is:
Java Web Start splash screen process exiting .....
Bad installation. No JRE found in configuration file
in the console when running their webstart.

So much for "works on every platform."

And yes, I do have a 1.5+ jre installed. WebStart always seems so flakey.
