Playing with Preview 2 of C/C++ Pack

I've been playing with the preview 2 of the C/C++ pack for NetBeans. It is now much further than a couple of months ago... right now it supports basic code completion, code folding, and other neat features... debugging is still not there but will be soon. What's nice is that it now works on Windows without any setup which was needed before. And I also spotted some wizards for Fortran (not that I would want to use them...).

Comments:

Hi Roumen, is there any support for shell script editing (probably just syntax highlighting) in the C/C++ pack? I have this very vague recollection that there was, but maybe I'm confusing it with something else.

Thanks,
Gregg

Yes, there is some support for shell scripting.

Yeah, there was a good amount of interest in it at JavaOne. I was at that booth on Wed & Thurs so if you stopped by, sorry I missed you. Hope your return trip went well.

hello, how about a "class browser" as in the defunct Sun Workshop (aka Forte 6)? this feature will be pretty nice for us, won't it?

2gerard: Wouldn't ClassView be the thing you're looking for?
