NetBeans Worldtour Movie

You might have already read about it in my blog before... this is the movie we've played during the NetBeans day. I have re-rendered it in lower quality for web delivery. You can play it with Mplayer, Windows Media Player or other MPEG4-capable players. The size is 43.7 MB, total length over 8 minutes. Enjoy :)

This short movie wouldn't be possible without support of David Lindt, Cindy Church (thanks for saving us in the US!), Linda Cakau and her $100 camera we really couldn't use :), Ruth Kusterer, Judith Lilienfeld, Jeff Jackson, Leela Bennett and everyone else who I forgot and who helped us record this movie. I love it when crazy ideas such as this one become real :)
Comments:

COOOOOOL video. Thanks for sharing. The funny thing is the music has the same drum base, mixing local song styles. Very cool.

Nice video. I also liked the background music. By the way, where dissapeared your yesterday's post (Netbeans everywhere :)?

I decided that under given circumstances it would be wiser to remove it... people from Eclipse Foundation didn't think what I did was funny (even though it was ment to be as just a prank, they took it seriously).

Roumen, do you know which codec was used to compress this video? I could not get it playing on Mac OS X yet. thanks

It was encoded in mpeg4v2, I think. I chose this codec because it can be played both on Linux with Mplayer and Windoze with default install. I do not have a Mac sorry :) Try mplayer for MacOS.
