NetBeans podcast is alive! What took so long? Well, I was on a looong vacation :) But now it's back and I'm happy to announce that Gregg Sporar has joined me so we'll be doing the future podcasts together!

Guys, great podcast! I learned something new, always a good thing (tm). I think you and Greg have a good 'on-air' chemistry and that's a big part of a successful podcast. (Just ask the JavaPosse guys.) One suggestion though: mix the sound so that you guys aren't to the sides of the listener. (Roumen in the right earpiece, Greg in the left.) When a person listens to a couple of guys giving a presentation, the sound comes from the front mostly, it may be biased to the side of the room the person speaking is on, but it's mostly from the front. I listened on the way home last night and it was as if you (Roumen) were in the passenger seat and Greg was running along outside my window!

Yes, good suggestion, I actually already edited the podcast and it's mono right now. The next podcast will be 20% to the left and 20% to the right for each of us. That will make it sound more like the javaposse guys have it :)

ROFL! Nooo, don't change it, it's not a bug, it's a feature! "Have Roumen on your passenger seat and Gregg running along outside the window -- only here, in the netbeans podcast!" Don't you see? It sells! Trust me! >:-D

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to get one of the colleagues who works on mobility on air.
