NET2Java: Convert .NET Applications to Java

Via Charles... there is a new NetBeans plug-in which can convert .NET code to Java (at least partially). It can also convert .NET projects to NetBeans. Wow, I have to try this... Is still downloading of Visual Studio such a pain as it used to be? More information is available on the NET2Java project site. I'm flying to California... let me know if you have any success with this plug-in! It looks like there's a lot of work to be done on the conversion libraries - as Danny says:

"Together we can translate every .NET application into Java!"
Comments:

It's a very interesting idea, I am wondering if one day we will could export a windows .net form to matisse :-) <ad> You can download the Express Editions of Visual Studio 2005 for free in http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/ </ad> Greetings,
