I wonder how they are going to add / mix SWT in this "feature"...

Yeah, me too. However, IMHO, it may not be a good idea to mix SWT/Swing together, because the consistency will be lost and the \*looks\* will become a little bit strange.... lol.

My question is in one of the screenshots they showed the code generated in the background and I am wodnering if it is guarded code like it is in Netbeans.

How about the MyEclipse web license agreement?

#1, "Each time you use or cause access to this web site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, and as amended from time to time with or without notice to you. In addition, if you are using a particular service on or through this web site, you will be subject to any rules or guidelines applicable to those services and they shall be incorporated by reference into these Terms of Use." Don't claim to be a legal expert, but to me, that implies, if you register today, and visit at any time later MyEclipse can change the terms of the license. And, if you don't happen to check the terms every time you visit the web site, you could unknowingly agree to something you didn't know you agreed too. Think about that if you ever post something to one of MyEclipse's forums.

#2, "By providing any Content to our web site: (a) you agree to grant to us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive right and license (including any moral rights or other necessary rights) to use, display, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, perform, promote, archive, translate, and to create derivative works and compilations, in whole or in part. Such license will apply with respect to any form, media, technology known or later developed;" By the mere fact of giving a name and e-mail address, just to register in order to download an evaluation, that says to me that MyEclipse can "use, display, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, perform, promote, archive, translate, and to create derivative works and compilations, in whole or in part" anything I post to their web site including a name and e-mail address. That agreement says to me it pretty much gives MyEclipse free reign to do whatever they want with a name and e-mail address including "modify" and "publish", yet alone anything that might be posted to a forum.

That's enough to keep me from ever registering, downloading, evaluation, etc, or doing anything with MyEclipse its web site, etc.

WTP on NetBeans? Why? ;) I would be rather interested in some of the other plug-ins though. We'll see what will the final Matisse4MyEclipse look like. If it's true that it's based on SWT_AWT bridge, it may not work on Mac. I also wonder how the Visual Editor guys feel about this... must be quite shocking for them. At any case it's very exciting that somebody else will reuse Matisse in such a way.
