Have You Already Downloaded Java SE 6?

If not, you should, at least for your desktop. Yes NetBeans does support it :) You can get it here.

I have downloaded the JDK 6.0, and installed it, and added it to NB via the Java Platform Manager... how do i change Netbeans to use it? When I look in the source level, it only goes upto 1.5, is there a missing update to NB? Thanks, Rory

@Rory: Everything is there explained http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/getStarted/cupojava/netbeans.html

Rory: Maybe you need to edit etc/netbeans.conf and force it to run on JDK6. Have you switched the Java platform to JDK6 in Project Properties - Libraries, too?

Hi Roumen, I am looking for a little flash demo, where the BPEL thing in Netbeans 5.5 is explained. It doesnt´ t need to much, perhaps 2 or 3 webservices, which are orchestrated. I was wondering if you could provide one of those, because I was learning a lot from your other flash demos. Thanks very much and happy holidays!

What is faster: Java 1.6 with its native GTK API for Swing or the Java-Gnome from http://java-gnome.sourceforge.net? Do you have expierence with that? Thanks a lot

BPEL demo sounds as a good idea, but I have to learn the SOA stuff first ;)
