Way cool! I couldn't tell from the Amazon page what kind of book it is. Is it a novel?

here is something i wrote about "mapping water" recently. it might be helpful. warm wishes, judy
I started Mapping Water in 2001. In time, I realized I was working on a memoir, but not one based on the events of a life. Instead, it was a memoir based on an evolving language of words and images that could give rise to the elusive threads of collective and individual memory that weave the elemental fabric of a life—our common human experience.
Mapping Water is laid out in a traditional linear format: the pages are to be experienced sequentially, starting at the beginning. At the same time, the material forms a language related to dreaming, a language that asks for a layering of associations in the non-linear logic of metaphor, intuition and poetic perception.
I invite you, the reader, to enter the waters of Mapping Water and to let the currents carry you.
