In this role, Carlin will be responsible for Oracle Retail’s strategy, enablement, development, sales, service, and support. He brings more than 30 years of retail industry experience to this leadership role.

He brings a breadth of experience across all facets of the retail value chain and has a proven track record of success in various executive leadership positions across the industry.”
Most recently, Carlin was responsible for the Oracle global hospitality portfolio as the Vice President of Strategy leading product direction, market analysis, alliances, and field enablement.
Previously, Carlin was Vice President and General Manager for the Hewlett Packard Retail Solutions Global Business Unit located in Houston, Texas. While at HP he was responsible for the retail and hospitality industries and was focused on the retail point of sale, mobile commerce, and digital signage markets worldwide. The business achieved significant growth and market share gains during his tenure. Ray joined HP in 2009.
Prior to his role at HP, Carlin was President and Chief Executive Officer of StoreNext Retail Technologies L.L.C., and Executive Vice President of Retalix USA, a leading provider of retail technology solutions for the grocery and convenience retail segments. He launched his career at NCR Corporation, where he held increasingly responsible positions over a span of 20 years including Vice President, U.S. Retail Systems Division; Vice President, Worldwide Industry Marketing, and Senior Vice President, Americas Region. Earlier in his career Ray served in a variety of retail vertical sales, industry marketing, and product management leadership roles.
