Gaining Operational Efficiency to Support Anticipated High Growth
Parfois has successfully deployed the Oracle Retail Merchandise Operations suite and the Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System to support their high growth and international expansion plans. Parfois operates over 750 stores across in 58 countries around the world. In six years, Parfois expects to triple the number of retail stores in their portfolio. Parfois offers affordable and on-trend fashion accessories such as handbags, jewelry, wallets, sunglasses, belts, scarves, watches, and hair accessories. Parfois also recently introduced apparel to their assortment. Parfois designs and develops 3,500 SKUs each season, with new items and merchandising in every store, every week.
“Prior to the implementation of Oracle Retail, our merchandising processes could not scale to support new business models. Several of our core processes were supported by Excel-based tools that were prone to human error and a lack of consistency,” said Frederico Santos, Chief Information Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Parfois. “Our transformational initiative allowed us to evolve and efficiently prepare for growth opportunities today and tomorrow. By gaining visibility into inventory and adopting industry best practice, we can better anticipate demand and plan inventory placement. The robust Oracle solution provides a consistent and reliable core operations engine.”
Oracle Gold Partner Retail Consult partnered with Parfois to deploy Oracle Retail Merchandising, Oracle Retail Sales Audit, Oracle Retail Invoice Matching, Oracle Retail Trade Management and Oracle Retail Warehouse Management.
“Retail Consult has truly partnered with us to achieve a holistic vision. Retail Consult brings the technical and business expertise to allow us to move forward together,” said Frederico Santos, Chief Information Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Parfois. “We trust Retail Consult to educate our teams to drive adoption of the solutions.”
“We are pleased to play a role in the success and expansion of Parfois. Merchandising is the backbone of the retail business and we continue to invest in our world class solutions. Our goal is to accelerate critical decision making through a powerful, modern interface and persona driven dashboards for retailers,” said Ray Carlin, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Oracle Retail.
