Localization Kits are intended to explain how language support works for Oracle Retail products and assist in the addition of future languages. They are intended to provide information regarding the needed tools, steps, and resources necessary to produce a localized version of the target software. This allows customers and system integrators to customize translations, if needed, or to create translations into languages not yet supported by Oracle.
Localization Kits are accompanied by translation pair extract files. These are spreadsheets for each language that contain the source English strings paired up with the translation for that string. In addition, information on where to find that string is included.
