Oracle Retail Insights Cloud Service Suite Release

Oracle Retail Insights Cloud Service Suite provides retailers role-based and prescriptive dashboards and robust science-powered insights. Oracle Retail Insights Cloud Service Suite delivers mobile-enabled insights for retailers that want to leverage data-driven insights powered by retail science to improve business performance. Oracle Retail Insights Cloud Service Suite is comprised of the following applications:

  • Oracle Retail Insights Cloud Service Suite
  • Oracle Retail Customer Insights Cloud Service (ORCICS)
  • Oracle Retail Merchandise Insights Cloud Service (ORMICS)

Retail Insights Cloud Service Suite also includes key functionality in Market Basket Insights.

This family of service solutions is based on Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (BI EE) and the Common Enterprise Information Model (CEIM), and employ Fusion-standard technology such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle Advanced Analytics (OAA).

The Retail Insights Cloud Services patch release contains new interfaces for loading Stock Counts and Price Zones from Merchandising Foundation and Pricing Management Cloud Services, as well as new metrics for the Planning facts and numerous defect fixes.

Documentation highlights for Release included the following:

User Guide

  • Removed content relating to Market Basket Analysis, which is now included as part of the Advanced Science Cloud Services documentation set.
  • Added content relating to Stock Count metrics and reporting functionality.
  • Appendix C updated with new metrics and attributes across numerous subject areas.
