New Food and Beverage Documentation Page

This post represents the first blog entry from the Technical Publications department at the Food and Beverage Global Business Unit (an Oracle Industry). Our blog entries are designed to help restaurants and partners receive regular updates about documentation releases.

The Technical Publications department delivers documentation for the Food and Beverage diverse suite of products. The members of the department ensure that documents are released in conjunction with development-driven project schedules. Documents include general-availability (GA) documents and White Papers. All documents are published to the Oracle Help Center (docs.oracle.com) or to My Oracle Support (support.oracle.com).

Oracle Food and Beverage delivers fully integrated solutions customized to fit unique business requirements. With a robust end-to-end portfolio, Oracle Food and Beverage enables food and beverage operations to streamline managerial tasks and increase speed of service while elevating the guest experience.

The Food and Beverage Documentation page is divided into several sections and aligns with the products available in our Food and Beverage portfolio. The sections include:

  • Point of Sale: This section provides documentation for Food and Beverage Point of Sale platforms, helping you streamline business operations and optimize the guest experience. Solutions include Simphony, Simphony First Edition, Simphony Venue Management, Suites Management, eCommerce Integration Cloud Service, RES 3700, e7 POS, and 9700 POS.
  • Back Office: This section provides documentation for Food and Beverage Back Office operations and data analysis. Solutions include Enterprise Back Office - Reporting and Analytics, Inventory Management, Labor Management, Gift and Loyalty, and InMotion.
  • Hardware: This section provides documentation for Oracle MICROS workstations and tablets along with site preparation and other hardware solutions.
  • Other Solutions: This section provides documentation for solutions and services including Advanced Science Engine Cloud Service, Simphony Venue Management, Suites Management, and eCommerce Integration Cloud Service.
