Announcing Two Oracle Retail Planning Application Cloud Services for Release 15.0

Bernie Goodman
Documentation Manager

Two planning application Cloud Services are available in Release 15.0:

  • Oracle Retail Demand Forecasting Cloud Service is a statistical and promotional forecasting solution. It uses state-of-the-art modeling techniques to produce high quality forecasts with minimal human intervention. Forecasts produced by the Demand Forecasting system enhance the retailer's supply chain planning, allocation, and replenishment processes, enabling a profitable and customer-oriented approach to predicting and meeting product demand.

  • Oracle Retail Merchandise Financial Planning Cloud Service provides flexible and easy-to-use financial planning solution templates that enable retailers to create high-level strategic and low-level detailed financial plans. The solution guides users through best-practice planning processes in an efficient, streamlined manner while providing top-down, middle-out, and bottom-up functionality for developing, reconciling, and approving plans.

Both of these Cloud Services are hosted in the Oracle Cloud for Industry.

The documentation set for each Cloud Service includes the following documents:

instructions on how to add users and roles.

  • Implementation Guide
