Portrait mode Sun Ray - 2

As a followup to my earlier blog entry (Portrait mode Sun Ray) here the scripts that I used with VDI 3.1 With these scripts it is very straightforward to have a couple of Sun Ray's displays rotated in VDI 3.1. Just register the pseudo.token within the Sun Ray admin interface, choose any Owner name but enter the value of 'rotate' at the field 'Other Information'...

Download the two scripts (vda and vda-info.sh) and put them into /etc/opt/SUNWkio/sessions/vda (be sure to backup the original vda script, e.g. 'cp vda vda.orig'). Next, reset the session for this Sun Ray DTU after which it should come back to you with a rotated screen.

Have fun, Rene.
