Release plan for OpenOffice.org 2.0.1 and 2.0.2

I updated yesterday the release plan for 2.0.1 and 2.0.2 release ( here ). In comparision to earlier releases the introduction of new features will be allowed. But it should not be expected that now tons of new feature will be available for these releases, only feature with small impact to documentation and locolization are expected. For bigger changes we need a more detailed roadmap which allow coordination among users, development, localizers and documentation people.

The only feature missing in OOO 2.0 that could put it on par with Office 2003 / and later betas pf 2005/2006 is being able to download templates from .CAB files the way Office can. You can add new fonts from the web in OOo via a Macro equipped Writer doc, does Writer support macros that can download and install additional templates? Not quite the way Office Update does it but close.

I would like to see a new feature added to the Drawing program to have text flow along the line of a curve or shape like it does in Corel Draw or Inkscape. Since Inkscape is also open source, maybe some of it's code could be used in OpenOffice. John
