EEOC Update for 2021 (U.S.A. Only)

After delaying the opening of the 2019 EEO-1 Component 1 and the 2020 EEO-3 and 2020 EEO-5 Data Collections on May 8, 2020 due to the COVID-19 public health emergency, the EEOC has announced the data collections are now on schedule to open in 2021. Organizations should begin preparing to submit data in anticipation of these openings.

The EEOC will open four data collections in 2021:

  • 2019 EEO-1 Component 1 AND 2020 EEO-1 Component 1 Data Collection
  • 2020 EEO-3 Data Collection
  • 2021 EEO-4 Data Collections
  • 2020 EEO-5 Data Collections

Important Note: For EEO-1 Component 2 (Pay Data) is NO LONGER being required for 2019 and 2020 - Notice to not collect Component 2 data

There are NO new proposed changes from the EEOC for the EEO-1, EEO-4, EEO-3 and EEO-5 reports.  No change or impact to PeopleSoft HCM.
