Are you ready to be a virtual passenger?

You’ve probably already imagined how much more work you could get done with an autonomous vehicle. Now imagine teleporting colleagues into your self-driving car to collaborate on a project or show off a potential development site. This soon will be possible with a new virtual reality solution announced in January at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas by automotive technology company Valeo. Still in development, Valeo Voyage XR may not be completely immersive for virtual passengers, but, says David Hermina, innovation and collaborative research manager at Valeo, “It is bidirectional, highly interactive, and happening together.” More at
