It’s no surprise that truly groundbreaking products and processes are so rare, when so few organizations have taken the steps to build innovation into corporate practices. In 2012, Oracle worked with the Economist Intelligence Unit to conduct a global survey of 226 senior executives, exploring the characteristics of companies that promote innovation. The findings revealed six successful strategies—in addition to some reversible mistakes—that influence innovation within the workforce.
