A recent plan to rebuild Puerto Rico includes using technology, such as cloud computing, to upgrade municipal systems and protect natural and cultural resources. But a draft of the Puerto Rican government’s recovery report, released in July, also includes ideas for innovations to entice talent and encourage entrepreneurship. Among the ideas are plans for a research, development, and prototyping facility and a call for using abandoned buildings as business incubators. More at p3.pr.gov.
