Thank you to Kash Mohammadi for the presentation on this topic.
In general, updates are applied to EPM Cloud test environments on the first Friday of every month, and the production environments on the third Friday. The application of customer updates is automated and synchronized.
Migrating artifacts like forms and business rules from Test to the Production environment, and cloning from Production back to Test are self-service operations in EPM Cloud. The user interface provides this functionality. The EPM Automate command line can be used to automate the process. For more information, refer to Administering Migration for Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud.
The Activity Report, which is automatically generated every day, enables Service Administrators to understand application usage. It also helps streamline application design by identifying calculation scripts and user requests that impact application performance. Additionally, the report may be used to compare service usage and performance to those available in a report from the past.
Refer to the following for more information:
Customers can record a session using Fiddler and generate har files, and then use the EPM Automate Replay command to replay the simulated workload. This method can be used for any operation that can be done in Smart View.
Identify Application Performance Optimization Candidates by reviewing the Activity Report.
