Patch Set Update: Oracle Smart View 11.1.2.5.520

Hyperion Product Management recently advised the release of a Patch Set Update (PSU) for Oracle Smart View for Office 11.1.2.5.x

INSTALLATION

Installation topics are covered in the "Oracle Smart View Installation and Configuration Guide", along with those outlined in the PSU specific Readme file.

Some items to note as outlined in the Readme file include:

- Smart View 11.1.2.5.520 is supported on:

- MS Windows 10

- MS Office 2016
-On each Smart View client machine, the following locale settings should match:

- Smart View language option

- MS Office language

-
MS Windows Regional Settings

-
MS Windows operating system
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 or higher is required for Smart View 11.1.2.5.520.
- When upgrading from release 11.1.1.3.x and earlier, or from a Smart View Patch Set Exception (PSE) release, Oracle recommends uninstalling Smart View before installing release 11.1.2.5.510.
- Oracle Journals for Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) extension works with Smart View 11.1.2.5.500 and later, and with HFM 11.1.2.4.100 and later
