Supported On-Premises to EPM Cloud Migrations:

  • Hyperion Planning to Planning and Budgeting Cloud
  • Hyperion Financial Management to Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud
  • Hyperion Financial Close Management to Account Reconciliation Cloud
  • Hyperion Profitability to Profitability and Cost Management Cloud
  • Hyperion Data Relationship Management to Enterprise Data Management Cloud

Available Migration Paths:

  • Hyperion Planning:,, and
    • migration documentation available from My Oracle Support
  • Hyperion Financial Management: and
    • Uses EPM Cloud Migration Accelerator. Utility and documentation available from My Oracle Support
  • Hyperion Financial Close Management: and newer
  • Hyperion Profitability:
    • Uses the Standard to Management Ledger Migration Utility to export artifacts of Standard Profitability applications to a template file
    • Uses Export Template command to packages Management Ledger applications

What is NOT Supported:

  • Horizontal Hyperion Planning modules such as Workforce Planning, Capital Asset Planning, Project Financial Planning, and Public Sector Planning and Budgeting

The Migration Process:

  • The process consists of a two stage migration; which entails migrating security and migrating application artifacts.
  • Optional process is to configure data loads using Data Management in EPM Cloud:
    • Create a custom data extraction process to export data to a delimited file; map and load into cloud
    • Use on-premises FDMEE by leveraging the Hybrid Integration and data load to EPM Cloud
