There is nothing about REST? (As a replacement for the very ugly XLMA stuff)
Implies Oracle 12.2 also 19.0 (essencenly only the new branding)?
(I ask that because of the life time support for Oracle DB versions)
    Thak you and Regards

    1. Given that was the final release for Interactive Reporting, can an Essbase Oracle EPM instance that also has Interactive Reporting installed be upgraded to 11.4?

    2. If an instance with both is upgraded will Oracle EPM Interactive Reporting (IR) simply stop working, or will there be more things involved with the process?

Currently we are on HFM , would it be possible for us to upgrade directly to 11.2 , or would it have to be to and then 11.2
This is important for us, as the server specs for 11.2 may not work for

  • Simon Powell Monday, December 2, 2019
It's December! Still no news on 11.2 release. Is it still going to be released in Dec?
  • Aravind L Friday, December 6, 2019
At this point do we know for sure if 11.2 is releasing in Dec 2019?

Any ideas if Windows 2016 would be supported?
  • J. Mehoff Monday, December 9, 2019
Is the EPM 11.2 documentation available at least? In the past releases the documentation would drop a week or more before the software release.

Aravind L - my understanding is that Windows 2019 and Linux 7 will be supported OS platforms although Linux 7 support will come later next year and Windows 2019 support on release.
  • AvishekS Tuesday, December 17, 2019

  • Casey Ratliff Thursday, December 19, 2019
Is it true 11.2 does not support vertical scaling? That is, adding CPU/RAM/DISK after installing?
  • sudhakar Thursday, December 19, 2019
We have been waiting for 11.2 to upgrade our Essbase environment, but Essbase plus is not available for download.

Is there a way to deploy Essbase with EPM 11.2 with Essbase license?
  • admin Friday, December 20, 2019

  • admin Friday, December 20, 2019
Hi Sudhakar, There is no Essbase release 11.2, which is why it is not available for download. Questions about future availability and roadmap should be directed to the Essbase team via a service request. The latest release of full-use licensed Essbase is, available with the EPM installers. EPM 11.2 supports and installs Essbase on the EPM 11.2 certified platforms. This is available with the restricted use licensed of Essbase – to be used with EPM only.
    Thank you.
  • Casey Ratliff Thursday, January 2, 2020
I was able to get 11.2 to configure...you must configure RCU...the documentation does not fully match the actual execution (if you download Planning Plus then it partially does, if not (like one of the other package downloads, it does not at all because the ODI options do not exist).
  • admin Friday, January 3, 2020
Hi Casey; thank you for your posts. We will need additional information and / or troubleshooting to respond to your posts. Therefore, if you are still experiencing issues with the install, please create a service request so that we can better assist you. It is beneficial to track the issues via a service request so that the Support team can assist you with the issues you are experiencing and provide the necessary fixes. Thank you very much.

HFM 11.2, I see that the support will be until 2030, will there be anymore releases during that time for HFM? Like 11.3, 11.4 for on-premise?
  • admin Thursday, February 27, 2020
Hi Gabe; As the webcasts communicated, we will be releasing a number of patch set updates (PSUs) to address expanded platform/3rd party coverage. For example Chrome/Edge browsers, Linux/Windows Server 2016, etc). Additionally new enhancements, defect fixes, etc will use the same process.
They will each carry an enhanced version number.
