Restricted Use: Oracle DRM for Hyperion EPM
- Provides Superior Functionality for Dimension Maintenance and Hierarchy Management
- Delivers Increased Value, Streamlined Application Maintenance via:
- App Dimension Definition – Adapt masters to create target-specific dimension properties
- Value inheritance - Calculate values based upon a controlling hierarchy
- Versioning – Take historical snapshots, spin what-if scenarios, rollback to points-in-time
- Derived properties - Calculate values based on user defined functions and scripts
- Custom validations - Validate based on custom business logic
- Custom exports - Define custom exports to filter and transform master hierarchies
- Compare hierarchies – Use “hot lists” of differences for repeatable reconciliation
What’s included?
- Data Relationship Management for dimension maintenance of Oracle Hyperion EPM on-premises applications only
- Data Relationship Steward (max 5 named users) to administer, secure and maintain hierarchies for Oracle Hyperion EPM on-premises applications only
What is not included?

Implies Oracle 12.2 also 19.0 (essencenly only the new branding)?
(I ask that because of the life time support for Oracle DB versions)
Thak you and Regards
Andre
Please be advised that more information will become available closer to the release date. This post was intended to provide some general information about the new, upcoming release and may not contain all of the details that will be included.
Thank you.
I do not have this information at this time.
Once 11.2 is officially released, all of the information will be provided in the support/certification matrix and release notes.
Thank you.
I reached out to product management and they stated that there is no change in the version of Essbase with the EPM 11.2 release. Everything that is available in 11.1.2.4 will continue to be available in 11.2.
Please keep in mind that Oracle Safe Harbor applies. Stay tuned for more information about the exact details of 11.2 once it is officially released.
Thank you.
With Essbase remaining at 11.1.2.4, will that version be certified for Windows 2016 and the other 3rd party certifications mentioned?
Thank you!
Thanks!
I reached out to the product manager and below are his responses:
Essbase 11.1.2.4 with EPM 11.2 will support the same matrix as 11.2.
11.2 for windows is focusing on Windows 2019. Matrix is finalizing shortly.
Once 11.2 is released, everything will be posted to the matrix regarding support and compatibility.
Thank you.
Regarding your question, "Is VBScript still an option for script development in FDMEE?", please be advised that this is Jython. Refer to the documentation below:
https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E57185_01/FDMAG/ch08.html
Thank you.
2. If an instance with both is upgraded will Oracle EPM 11.1.2.4 Interactive Reporting (IR) simply stop working, or will there be more things involved with the process?
We now in September, are we any closer to a release date? I need to move to a new server environment, which only support Windows 2016. Is EPM/DRM 11.2, still going to be released in Sept?
Thanks
Simon
This is important for us, as the server specs for 11.2 may not work for 11.1.2.4.
do you know any closer time for releasing, as there is end of September?
Best Regards, Laszlo
We are near to the end of September. Could you update the date of release of Oracle EPM 11.2 please?
Thank you.
Regards,
Luis
Thanks!
We are at end of October now and there is no update on the 11.2 release. Do we have any date already specified by Oracle yet?
would the EPM Planning applications be essentially moved to Classic planning if we migrate to 11.2?
Thanks!
Upasna Tanwar
Please stay tuned to this blog. I will continue to update the blog regarding updates to the release as more information becomes readily available to me.
Is Essbase 11.1.2.4 getting the updated OS and Java certifications, or is it only 19c?
Thanks,
According to product management, 11.1.2.4 Essbase as part of EPM 11.2 will support the same matrix as the rest of 11.2. Thank you.
can you confirm if FR studio, the windows client, will still be available in 11.2 ? (as well as the FR web studio)
Thank you.
Thank you.
Where we can find any comparison between 11.1.2.4 and 11.2 - more detailed one.
Thank You
Any ideas if Windows 2016 would be supported?
Aravind L - my understanding is that Windows 2019 and Linux 7 will be supported OS platforms although Linux 7 support will come later next year and Windows 2019 support on release.
Any update on the release? Its already 17-Dec today.
Eagerly waiting for 11.2 to release - Will Oracle give us all a Holiday gift ? :)
Check https://blogs.oracle.com/proactivesupportepm/epm_112 for more information.
Downloads and documentation can be found on edelivery.
Thank you.
Is there a way to deploy Essbase 11.1.2.4 with EPM 11.2 with Essbase license?
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
They will each carry an enhanced version number.
Thursday, January 16, 2020 was stated that Linux would be available in a few months.
Is there any news about?
