Feature Additions:

  • Essbase Cumulative Bundle Patch (30464311) is applied as part of the base installation.
  • Private object storage bucket used for storing temporary provisioning metadata. This release uses the bucket to store volume attachment data, needed for properly attaching the iSCSI data during the compute node initialization without requiring SSH access.
  • Use prebuilt OCI image for bastion host instance. This image is prebuilt with the configuration changes that were previously applied during the provisioning process:
  • Disabled root login
  • Hardening ssh daemon.

Feature Changes/Updates:

  • Reverted the option to enable access control for provisioned Autonomous Database instance and whitelist VCN. This resolves some intermittent issues that were seen preventing the compute node from properly access the database during provisioning.
