Can anyone actually get this version to install? I have tried OS 2016 and 2019, SQL 2016, SQL 2019 and Oracle 18c...all fail to deploy WL.

Please advise where the supported-platforms-matrix info for 11.2 is to be found. The links provided in the documents are pointing to only the older versions supported platforms.

Casey, Windows 2016 is not supported. SQL 2019 is not supported. Logs would be helpful to determine the nature of the failure.
We will need additional information and / or troubleshooting to respond to your post. Please open a service request so that we can serve you better. Thank you.

Will there be any webinar or conference from product team for customer/internal to understand more about the version 11.2 and the difference to 11.1.1.4 ?

We understand that there is blog/present for those information, but customer/prospect raised such request and they have some more questions. Thanks and Appreciate for your advice.

Great to have the new version released. Thanks.

We have received many requests from customer/prospect for the webinar/conference about the new features, the difference between 11.1.2 and 11.2 and the road & strategy. Appreciate for your advice.

    Happy Holiday :)

James, there are no planned webcasts at this time. If you need information regarding new features, road map; etc, please refer to the presentation posted on the Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) 11.2 On-Premises Release Information blog; which is referred to in this blog. It was presented at Oracle Open World and should have all of the information that you're asking for. Thank you.

Has Oracle gotten closer to defining a date for releasing 11.2 for Linux? The page says releasing in a few months, but details say within the next few weeks.
  • admin Friday, February 28, 2020
Hi Charles, I reached out to management and was informed that Linux is planned for mid year 2020; Oracle Safe harbor. Our first patch set update is adding chrome/edge and windows 2016 – and planned to be available mid first half, cy2020. Oracle Safe Harbor applies here, too.

When is the first patch release with the new HFM functionality to be released?
  • admin Monday, April 27, 2020
Hi Tom, this is TBD at this point. Stay tuned.

Also, the Applications Unlimited provides for customer-driven enhancements. In order to evaluate and prioritize, it would be helpful to understand what feature(s) you are interested in with regards to your HFM deployment.

Are Essbase standalone customers (Essbase plus licenses) able to make use of the Essbase 11.1.2.4 as a part of EPM 11.2 release? We are looking into it as an option due to the updated Java 1.8 and Windows Server 2016 certifications.

If it is not an option, it sounds like we will need to wait for the 19C/20C release.

    Thanks!

Hi Jared; I checked with Product management about your question about Essbase and unfortunately, the answer is no. Restricted Essbase with EPM 11.1.2 is not available for Standalone Essbase customers. Thank you.

For change from EPMA to DRM, it mentioned that a Migration Kit will be published including a whitepaper and scripts to assist with dimension extraction from EPMA to DRM , please advise how to obtain.

Another question is that which version of EPM where we can continue to use EPMA and starting from which version of EPMA we must use Oracle Data Relationship Management.

    Thanks

For DRM, there is a statement that Migration Kit will be published including a whitepaper and scripts to assist with dimension extraction from EPMA to DRM. Could you advise how to obtain ? Thanks
