So, You Want the New Oracle ADF User Interface for WebCenter Content Server?

The most recent release of WebCenter Content, 11.1.1.8, is equipped with everything you need to use the new Oracle ADF (Application Development Framework) User Interface. Using the Java Development Platform, the User Interface can be changed and modified to better suit your user community.  Here are some sample screen shots from WebCenter Content Server:

So, how do you install and begin to use this new interface?  Luckily, we've built a step-by-step guide for you!  If you have a look at Note 1570993.1 from our Knowledge Base, you'll find everything you need to get this UI installed properly.  Inside this note, you'll find some considerations you'll want to be aware of, before installation.  You'll also find complete instructions for installing Content Server, and for Installing the ADF WebUI on the server once the server is successfully running.  There are also several miscellaneous tips and tricks included as well.

If you have a good Java Development team and would like to take advantage of Oracle Application Development Framework to spice up your WCC UI, this is an excellent place to start!
