As per Oracle Support Document 1591422.1 (OBIEE Suite Bundle Patches), bundle patches are expected once a quarter. But we have had 4 patches in the last 5 months ( - released in Jan
, - released in Feb,
, - release in Apr, - released in May). These are putting a lot of pressure on patching and testing strategies for businesses. A lot of testing man hours go futile, hope Oracle brings some sanity and credibility of this important software suite.

Hi VG,

We've made development aware of your feedback.
They acknowledge that the last few releases have been close together however they have assured us that moving forward the patches will be more or less spaced out quarterly.

We noticed that the patch supported IE11 but there are other issues as well. IE 11 is slow to open Dashboards and navigate different tabs on the Dashboard page. IE 9 and Firefox do not show this latency.
Also download to PDF with @{pageNumber} on the dashboard level is not possible with even with the latest bundle patch.

Hi Jullin,

Thanks for these observations. I'll pass the message on to development. If you need action take specifically for your environment I would suggest creating a SR with Support.
