Intercompany Partner (ICP) Transactions
FDMEE now supports loading intercompany partner (ICP) transactions to Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
Cell text and documents can now be attached to a data cell. Multiple instances of cell text can be added as needed. Cell text can be loaded to HFM.New Application Options
A new load method option enables you to write data to a file and load the data file to Essbase and Planning, or to use the default SQL method. Additionally, you can now select to have FDMEE prefix duplicate member names.Data Load Rule
Import Format - You can now specify the import format for files in Data Load Rules. By default FDMEE uses the import format from the location.Multi-Period Data Loading from a File - A file containing data of multiple periods can be loaded from a single execution of the Data Rule. You can also specify destination periods from non-contiguous periods to load (for example, March-13, March-12, September-12).Scripting
Custom scripts can be used to perform custom tasks like copying files or importing data from an external table or FDMEE tasks like running a data load. Each custom script is added to a custom script group, which can then be secured and registered. Registered scripts enable you to prompt a user with a list of values offered at the time when a script is executed.Custom scripts can be written in Jython and Visual Basic code.Miscellaneous Enhancements
Metadata Load Options - You can now select EPMA metadata load options when defining metadata rules. Options include: merge as primary, merge as move, and replace.Pre and Post Batch Scripts - You can call a custom script before and after batch processing. You can use these scripts to copy files before batch processing or to send email notifications about batch jobs status after processing.
