We were just informed that there might be an issue when migrating API clients to the latest 18.104.22.168 release of Essbase.
If you then try to use that client on a new installation of 22.214.171.124 with RTC 126.96.36.199 you may see the error:
Searching for this Error in the Error message Guide will not assist, as it is not documented yet.
However, you can find it in the esserror.h file:
"Error 1030830 The client was compiled using an earlier version of Essbase runtime client (RTC). Recompile your executable with the RTC that you are currently using. "
So that is what needs to be done - recompile the client executable with the latest RTC 188.8.131.52.
We also have created a KM note about this known issue ( Doc ID 1967479.1 )
