Portal Server 7.1 更新1中的Ajax容器
By leonfan on 九月 13, 2007
Ajax Container is one of the key features to be launched with the Portal Server 7.1 Update 1 release.
The Ajax Container integrates Ajax capabilities at the portal framework level. The container provides asynchronous loading of individual channels and portlets. Therefore, a slow channel or portlet will not affect the loading time of the other channels and portlets on a page, improving overall performance. The Ajax Container includes Ajax based interaction for all container controls and features which provides for a much richer and faster user experience.
Detailed documentation about the Ajax Container can be found in the 7.1 Update 1 documentation.
This being the first release of the Ajax Container there are some known problems that you should be aware of. The Ajax Container currently is incompatible with the following:
- - Some Community Portlets and the Discussion channel may not work properly in the Ajax Container
- - Portlets making cross-domain Ajax requests, e.g., if you are embedding a Google maps object, will not work because of of security constraints imposed by the XMLHttpRequest object. You can work around this constraint by putting your map object inside an iframe.
- - JMaki based portlets may not work properly
