By now, most of you have heard that PeopleSoft change the way maintenance and enhancements are delivered with version 9.2 applications. If you would like to find out more about the process and the life-cycle tools, lots of information can be found on the PeopleSoft Update Manager Home Page on My Oracle Support (Doc ID 1464619.1). You can find details on how to set up the environment, what has changed, hardware and software pre-reqs and much, much more. What is missing, is how the customer can get the most out of the process.
PeopleSoft has published a new white paper called Adapting to PeopleSoft Continuous Delivery. In the paper it describes the benefits of the new life-cycle process and what organizations can do to benefit the most from the change. Of course you can find the document on the PeopleSoft Information Portal, www.peoplesoftinfo.com, or just click on the link above. When you think about how big of a change this is, it's worth a read.
Look for this to be a hot topic at this years Oracle Open World 2014 and beyond.
