As many of you know from my last post, when Oracle first announced support for PeopleSoft through at least 2030, we also committed to a rolling 10 years of support. Since it’s now 2020, it was time for us to review and extend the support date, and we have.
- The Lifetime Support Policy datasheet for Applications has been updated, and now shows all PeopleSoft continuous delivery releases supported through at least 2031.
- We remain committed to a rolling 10 years of support for PeopleSoft. We will review and plan to extend support again next year, and the year after that, so that you have a decade of committed support and can plan your enterprise software investments accordingly. We will continue to do so until Oracle’s strategy and support for PeopleSoft changes.
- As before, it’s not just about bug fixes…we are actively investing in the products. We post a new release nearly every month. New features for HCM and ERP are delivered every quarter. We are hard at work on Kibana analytics, new chatbots, powerful features like modernizing Job Data or Supplier Classification and Certificate Management, and much more. And we are rapidly adjusting priorities so that we can respond to urgent requests you have today, based on the dynamic and unpredictable way your business needs are changing.
- Due to COVID-19, we are monitoring and responding to customer requests for support extensions, such as PeopleTools 8.56 patch support. Announcement of these extensions and details can be found on our COVID-19 Updates for PeopleSoft page. We are updating this page regularly and will continue to post updates as needed.
