PeopleSoft Cloud Manager Image 10 is Now Available

David Bain
Sr. Director PeopleTools Product Management

Cloud Manager Image 10 (CM010) is now available from the Oracle Marketplace and it’s loaded with new features to help you manage your PeopleSoft environments in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

If you are not sure what Cloud Manager is all about, it’s pretty simple, it helps you move and manage PeopleSoft 9.2 environments in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Once there, it helps you administer applications and manage lifecycle processes. You can learn more about the Cloud Manager page on the PeopleSoft Information Portal.

With PeopleSoft Cloud Manager Image 10 you can now:

  • Use the OCI Resource Manager to simplify the process of configuring complex network environments that can be difficult and error-prone.

  • Use additional database platforms including Oracle Exadata Cloud Service as well as Oracle, 18c and 19c versions.

  • Use Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)

  • Simplify the maintenance of Cloud Manager with automated patches and updates to Cloud Manager.

  • One-click fast cloning of environments.

  • Discover externally created environments running on OCI and import the definitions to manage them with Cloud Manager

  • Automatically upgrade PeopleTools versions including PeopleTools 8.58 on OCI  (when available).

  • Support for Windows based Process Scheduler to use with NVision

  • Kibana support

And much more. Make sure to check out the Cloud Manager Release Video for more features.

Image 10 represents a significant improvement in the areas of automation, supported platforms, ease of use, and environment management.  No other IaaS Cloud Platform can match the combination of automation, performance, ease of use and cost savings that is available on OCI.  Check it out for yourself with a free trial.
