Oracle Open World is Just Around the Corner

Matthew Haavisto
Product Management Director

Open World is Oracle's biggest event of the year, and PeopleSoft is well represented again this year.  We will be presenting over 75 sessions including keynotes and general sessions provided by PeopleSoft Executives and leaders, as well as informative sessions presented by our applications and technology teams.  In addition, our partners and customers will be telling their success stories, so you can learn a lot from them.  Take a look at this video to learn more about the PeopleSoft agenda at Open World.

We also have a mobile-friendly web site that will keep you informed about sessions, schedules, and events at Open World.  This site is all about PeopleSoft at Open World, so it will help during the conference with planning, locating sessions of interest, and other useful information.  It provides information that will be updated before and throughout the conference and contains things like Key Sessions, Speaker Spotlights, and other resources like Focus On documents.  The site will be live on September 18th.

Our technology sessions will cover many important topics including the following:

  • PeopleSoft Technology Road Map
  • Elasticsearch with PeopleSoft
  • PeopleSoft deployed on the Cloud
  • Deploying the Fluid UI
  • Selective Adoption and Life Cycle
  • Reporting and Analytics
  • Platforms and infrastructure
  • Security, on premise and in the cloud

We are bringing back the popular PeopleTools panel discussion in which you can ask questions of our technology management team.  There is also something new this year: a 'brain snack' session in which you can engage with Oracle/PeopleSoft people as well as other customers and partners in free form conversations about any topic that is meaningful to you.  This also enables you to make connections with your peers and share valuable insights.

We hope many of you will be attending, and we look forward to seeing you at the conference.
