Open World 2019 is Coming!

Open World is coming up soon!  I hope you'll be joining us in San Francisco September 15-19.  There are lots of great PeopleSoft sessions across all applications, including presentations from Oracle, customers, and partners.  I'll focus here on sessions that we'll be presenting in the tech area.

Starting the week off on Monday we have three sessions:

CAS5335 - Simplifying the PeopleSoft Maintenance Process: A Customer Success Story   Here we'll cover how to use configuration and life-cycle automation tools to make it simpler to take images and updates

CAS5337 - Thriving with PeopleSoft on Oracle Cloud: A Customer Success Story    Listen to a customer describe how they successfully deployed PeopleSoft on Oracle Cloud.

PRO5327 - Applications Technology Update and Roadmap for PeopleSoft   Attend the always popular Tools roadmap session to learn about the latest features and those on the Horizon.

There are three more sessions on Tuesday:

PRO5328 - New Features of the PeopleSoft Analytic Landscape    This session will emphasize how to take advantage of Kibana with PeopleSoft

PRO5334 - Enabling Emerging Technology in PeopleSoft    Learn about what PeopleTools is doing to support emerging technologies like chatbots, artificial intelligence, and machine learning and how these things will improve your enterprise applications

PAN5338 - Make Your PeopleSoft Customizations Update Safe    A panel of experts will describe how to eliminate or isolate customizations using tools such as Event Mapping, Drop Zones, and Page and Field Configurator.  

Wednesday is a big day with five sessions:

PRO5331 - PeopleSoft PeopleTools Platform and Infrastructure Overview    Learn about all the latest certifications and everything to do with your PeopleSoft infrastructure.

PAN5339 - Customers Using Oracle Cloud for PeopleSoft    Hear from a panel of customers on their experiences deploying PeopleSoft on Oracle Cloud.

TIP1555 - Getting the Most Out of PeopleSoft PeopleTools: Tips and Techniques    This session is another perennially popular one.  Learn about best practices for using the latest PeopleTools features to your benefit.

CON5329 - PeopleSoft Page and Field Configurator: Ask the Experts    Go deep on the popular Page & Field Configurator tool.  Learn about all the latest features, what's planned for the future, and how you can use it to greatest advantage.

PRO5332 - Harden and Protect PeopleSoft On-Premises and in the Cloud    Security is high on everyone's list of important subjects.  Learn about how to protect your PeopleSoft Environments from threats whether deployed on premise or in the cloud.

We wrap up the week on Thursday with two sessions:

PRO5330 - Thriving with PeopleSoft on Oracle Cloud: Using Cloud Manager    Take advantage of PeopleSoft's versatile and useful Cloud manager to facilitate your Cloud Deployment.  It also helps provision and manage all your environments on Oracle Cloud, whether for development, testing, or production.  Learn about all the latest features.

PAN5340 - PeopleTools Product Team Panel Discussion  This is an open discussion with PeopleSoft technical executives.    Here you can ask them any question related to PeopleSoft technology, including things you've learned at the conference.

In addition to these tech sessions, you'll want to attend our marquee general session presented by PeopleSoft's Executive Vice President, Paco Aubrejuan.  He'll cover the latest PeopleSoft innovations where we're headed, and talk about the overall state of PeopleSoft.  You should also attend the strategy session by Rebekah Jackson, Vice President of Product Management to learn about PeopleSoft's important strategic initiatives.  Both of these sessions are on Monday.
