Happy International Pronouns Day - October 18

Wednesday, Oct. 18 is International Pronouns Day.  Using someone’s correct personal pronouns is a way to respect them and create an inclusive environment, just as using a person’s preferred name is another way to show respect.  Common pronouns include she/her/hers, he/him/his, and they/them/theirs.[LC1]   PeopleSoft HCM can help your organization with providing an inclusive working environment with our Gender Identity feature.

Many customers have deployed the Gender Identity & Expression feature with very positive response from their employees.

Employees can enter their pronoun in Self-Service so their manager and co-workers can see their pronoun displayed on PeopleSoft HCM pages.  

PeopleSoft HCM displays the employee’s pronoun in Company Directory which can be accessed by everyone in the organization.  

PeopleSoft HCM provides flexibility so organizations to configure the Fluid header to display an employee’s pronouns (along with other HCM fields) – to see how to configure the fluid header check out this blog Configuring your page header.
