Wednesday, Oct. 18 is International Pronouns Day. Using someone’s correct personal pronouns is a way to respect them and create an inclusive environment, just as using a person’s preferred name is another way to show respect. Common pronouns include she/her/hers, he/him/his, and they/them/theirs.[LC1] PeopleSoft HCM can help your organization with providing an inclusive working environment with our Gender Identity feature.

Employees can enter their pronoun in Self-Service so their manager and co-workers can see their pronoun displayed on PeopleSoft HCM pages.
PeopleSoft HCM displays the employee’s pronoun in Company Directory which can be accessed by everyone in the organization.
