We returned for the Oracle HCM User Group (“OHUG”) conference in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago with our adrenalin pumping.
Informative sessions, Meet the Experts and the outstanding networking events; the OHUG Conference had over 1300 attendees representing 26 countries.
As you can imagine, there were high expectations for the PeopleSoft HCM team to top last year’s PeopleSoft HCM Keynote. Attendees sitting at the edge of their seats in anticipation of the start of the Keynote….
We did not disappoint.
The Rock of Ages was most fitting for the historical view of PeopleSoft through the years and highlighting the latest innovation. Those features included Company Directory, Matrix Administration, Manager Dashboard, Talent Summary and Total Rewards Statement in addition to showcasing the planned features including Life Events, Paycheck modeling and the new Applicant process.
Leveraging the latest technology, PeopleSoft HCM is streamlining the user experience and continuing to enhance overall usability. Some of the latest technology highlights include Pivot Grids, Secured Enterprise Search and Workcenters.
The Thursday Keynote with Jenna Hager and Barbara Bush was inspiring and their accomplishments admirable.
Not only did they educate us on their outstanding work in promoting education and healthcare worldwide, but we also learned about the value of volunteering especially with this generation. I know I left their session thinking about what I can do.
Special thanks to the OHUG team for an outstanding conference this year!!
This will be tough to top but our PeopleSoft HCM team is hard at work preparing for Oracle Open World in San Francisco.
We have great new features and technology to share including a sneak peak to PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.53. We look forward to seeing you there!
