Starting in Image 33, you can integrate PeopleSoft Asset Management and PeopleSoft Maintenance Management with Oracle Internet of Things Asset Monitoring Cloud Service. PeopleSoft delivers the Rest APIs and URL details required for integrating with Oracle Internet of Things; you need to only specify Internet of Things Asset Monitoring instance detail and property information.

Assets maintained in Asset Management and equipped with sensors are synchronized with Internet of Things Asset Monitoring.  There is no need for duplicate asset entry.

Incidents based on rules you define within the Internet of Things Asset Monitoring result in condition-based maintenance (CBM) alerts in Maintenance Management. Create a new work order, or accelerate a preventive maintenance event to address an out-of-tolerance condition.
